"The Moonbase" Is Animated & Doctor Who DVD May-November DVD Release Update

The Moonbase gets animated!
The latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine confirms that The Moonbase will have its own DVD release on the 21st October. Originally released as part of Lost in Time DVD in 2004, episodes two and four will be accompanied by animated versions of episodes one and three. The missing episodes are to be animated by Planet 55 Studios, who provided the animated episodes for The Reign of Terror and the forthcoming The Tenth Planet

Doctor Who Magazine Issue #460 Cover Revealed


The cover for the most recent issue of Doctor Who Magazine has been released and shows all Eleven Doctors with the title "Who is the Doctor?"

A quote from First Doctor companion Ian Chesterton and a sentence about the magazine heading to Trenzalore to find out whether the Doctor's name has been discovered or not can be seen on the cover.

The cover itself ties in with the recent revealing of the title of the Series 7 Part 2 finale as The Name of the Doctor.

The 460th issue of Doctor Who Magazine will be on sale from Thursday 2nd May, and will be priced £4.75.

Season 7 Finale Episode Title Revealed!


The BBC have just unveiled the poster and title for the current series finale episode. The Name of The Doctor, written by Steven Moffat and starring Matt Smith, Jenna-Louise Coleman and Alex Kingston, airs in the UK and North America on May 18 and on the following day in Australia, Poland and South Africa. 

Synopsis
"Someone is kidnapping the Doctor's friends, leading him towards the one place in all of time and space that he should never go."
